Pilates Reformer
We present to you with great joy and excitement our new Pilates Studio, which is located directly opposite the FitnessPlus Gym, at 2 Chrysostomou Smyrni and Iroon Skopeftiriou Streets in Kaisariani, in the center of Athens.
Aiming to cover all fields of modern training, we have created a space in which the practitioner, under the guidance of highly qualified and experienced instructors, will be able to practice the four S of Joseph Pilates: “Strength, Stability, Stretch and Stamina”.
The basic equipment of the Studio consists of:
A) Reformer with Tower (7 beds)
The instability of the rolling platform with the springs in the Reformer, set at different levels of resistance, help work the body around the perimeter for stabilization, strength and balance.
The Tower is a vertical addition to the Reformer with additional springs and attachments for additional arm exercises. The adjustment of the springs and the resistance is done according to the height, weight and
strength of the exerciser.
B) Reformer Cadillac
It looks like a double canopy bed, raised from the floor and equipped with a variety of metal holes, springs and a wooden bar.
Exercises on the Reformer Cadillac help develop muscles and improve blood circulation.
C) Pedi Combo (Wunda Chair + Pedi Pole)
It’s a box that looks like a chair, with the addition of Tower sliders. On the one hand it can take downward pressures, overcoming spring resistances like a pedal, while being split into two parts to operate independently.
The practitioner practices from a standing, sitting or lying position and we achieve stability and flexibility with this type of exercise.
Pilates Plus is a modern fitness Studio, which will meet your needs for proper and safe exercise, whatever level of exercise experience you have, it will give you the stimulation your body needs to cope with the needs of everyday life and will definitely help make Pilates fitness a way of life.
Always under the supervision of the FitnessPlus Gym team, as for over 20 years we have
been making sure you exercise correctly, safely and with dignity.
